Roland Schöbel

Roland Schöbel is a financial services expert with more than 20 years of relevant professional experience. He became Financial Services leader at PwC Austria in August 2011 and Advisory Leader at PwC Austria in July 2018. His areas of professional focus include bank MIS (customer and product calculation, cost accounting, budgeting and planning, preliminary calculation, reporting), OeNB reporting, process design and optimisation of bank processes (accounting processes, credit processes, payment transactions) and risk management.

In recent years, Roland has successfully managed numerous major international projects in Austria, Germany, the UK, and throughout the CEE region. Prior to joining PwC, he worked for more than ten years in an executive position at an international management consulting firm and for ten years at a leading Austrian bank.
