Philipp Mattes-Draxler

Philipp Mattes-Draxler is a partner in the Cybersecurity and Privacy department at PwC Austria. He specialises in advising national and international companies with a focus on cybersecurity. He has expertise in IT security incident management, incident response and threat intelligence. In addition to positions at other auditing companies, he has also worked at the Austrian Armed Forces in the field of information security for more than 10 years. Mattes-Draxler is an expert in cross-sectional topics and is committed to the further development of the IT Security Incident Management department, which is also reflected in his lecturing activities at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna. Born in Lower Austria, he has completed courses in information management and computer security at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg and the University of Applied Sciences Vienna. He has also completed the diploma course in Military Leadership at the Theresian Military Academy.
