Matthias Eicher

Matthias Eicher leads the areas Valuation & Economics, Financial Services, and Real Estate. He has more than fifteen years of professional experience advising companies in the Financial Services industry on valuation and financial modelling. One focus of his work is transaction valuation.

During his professional career, Matthias has overseen a large number of corporate and portfolio transactions in the German-speaking and international financial sector as the project manager responsible for valuation issues. In particular, he is a specialist in the valuation of loan portfolios (performing / non-performing). In addition, he is an experienced expert in the areas of impairment tests, purchase price allocation, fairness opinions, business plans, property valuations and corporate real estate management.

Matthias studied finance and psychology in Marburg and Mannheim and received his doctorate in 2006 in the area of Bank Management & Controlling at the University of Basel, where he studied under Prof. Henner Schierenbeck. He continues to lecture on bank management, investment calculations, company valuation and financial statement analysis in Germany and abroad and is the author of numerous specialist articles.
