Dorotea-E. Rebmann has been with PwC since 1992. Qualified in law and business administration, she leads the bank audit team at PwC Austria. Her expertise includes advising on regulatory and accounting issues, in particular the recognition and measurement of financial instruments in accordance with IAS 39 and IFRS 9, as well as measures to prevent fraudulent activities in banks. Her project experience as a bank auditor includes responsibility for large teams in the context of IFRS projects, capital market transactions, due diligence reviews and forensic investigations.
She is a member of the expert committee for Company Law and Audit of the Austrian Chamber of Tax Advisors and Public Accountants (KSW - Banks, Insurance Companies, Leasing working group) and a member of the Bank Auditing working group at the Institute of Austrian Auditors (IWP). She is also an author and lecturer on specialist topics.
