Christine Weinzierl

Christine Weinzierl is a certified public accountant and tax advisor (AT) and has been providing tax advice to international group companies since 1991. She specialises in advising companies in the field of VAT, in particular the VAT optimisation of cross-border distribution systems and services.

Christine is the Austrian delegate to the Tax Policy Group and VAT Task Force of the FEE (Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens) and to the Fiscal Committee of the CFE (Confederation Fiscale Européenne); a member of the expert committee for Tax Law of the Austrian Chamber of Tax Advisors and Public Accountants (KSW) with a focus on VAT and environmental taxes; a member of the extended board of the Austrian group of the International Fiscal Association; and a member of the committee for Tax Policy and Capital Markets of the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV).

In addition, she has international experience speaking on VAT and is the author of the book “Umsatzsteuer Basiswissen für das Rechnungswesen”.
